Takagi's Spun table lamp, which will debut in May as part of the inaugural Matter Made collection at the New York boutique Matter. "I pretty much just cold-called Jamie Gray," Takagi says of hooking up with Matter's proprieter. "It's great having things go into production. It would be interesting to be commissioned to do something, maybe it would help me focus. Right now, I have a huge backlog of stuff I'm interested in building."
