We had no phone service but Clair and I had each brought our own atlas and were driving around trying to find a lake to go to. The climate there is so wild because we drove ten miles and suddenly we were on top of a mountain and we could see snowcaps in the distance and it was too cold to swim. Not for Billy, though."
