We almost, but thankfully didn’t, miss the British Council’s stand at Design Junction, featuring a series of bespoke hand-woven rugs. Common Thread unites the community of Amazigh in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco with London-based designer Sabrina Kraus Lopez, mixing traditional skills with contemporary designs. Wow can you not love this monochrome Afauzar rug with abstracted shapes? Look out for more of the collective coming soon.
