Want Sight Unseen to Review Your Work? Apply Now for 2018’s Reform Design Biennale

We receive submissions from designers every day in our inboxes, and we’re constantly scouring platforms like Instagram and Pinterest for new work. But come next spring, we’ll be looking to a new source for scouting designers: We’ve been asked to join the jury for a curated design exhibition known as REFORM, which takes place every other year in Copenhagen. Founded in 2014 by three Danish designers, the REFORM biennial is an exhibition for designers and artists who are interested, above all, in experimentation and creating new functions, ideas, processes, crafts, and technologies. We’ve included the images from 2016’s exhibition here, and while former entrants have hailed from primarily European countries, the application is open to everyone. The 2018 edition will open June 9 at Munkeruphus, the former live/work space of iconic Danish designer Gunnar Aagaard Andersen. But hurry up: The deadline for submissions is this Friday, December 1st. Check out re-form.dk for application guidelines.
