Max Lamb

Born and raised in bucolic Cornwall, England, furniture designer Max Lamb has made quite a name for himself since he moved to London a decade ago, landing Paul Johnson as a gallerist and Brad Pitt as a client. Yet in some ways he’s still a country boy at heart, gravitating towards elemental materials and hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves production methods, like chiseling chunks of marble into rough-hewn chairs or pouring molten copper into surfside sand molds. His Prism Bracelet for Sight Unseen showcases both his intellectual side and his rugged appeal, combining laser-cut geometric forms with the satisfying heft of raw steel.
