What makes a Bower product so good? For us, it’s the combination of serious woodworking skills combined with a sense of fun and a bit of art history thrown in for good measure: the geometric, Op-Art cutting boards inspired by Barry McGee, the magnetized key target that references Jasper Johns. For Sight Unseen, the Brooklyn duo took their already delightful Tipsy — an impossible-to-knock-over, cone-shaped paperweight made from brass and wood — and gave it the Jackson Pollock treatment: hand-applied splatter paint in colorways both classy and cute.
