Bec Brittain

–Aiguilette Leather Necklace

Brittain’s first line of braided jewelry was based on bondage, but here, her inspiration takes a U-turn: Her Aiguillette necklace was named for the decorative braided cords that hang from formal military uniforms. Its appealingly chunky strands employ braiding techniques improvised by the designer herself, and each is handmade in leather in the designer’s Brooklyn studio.
