Jim Drain

–Chain Scarf

In 2009, Jim Drain participated in a group show at Deitch Projects gallery in New York’s Long Island City which also featured work by Paul Chan, Jeff Koons, and Gelatin. Drain’s sculpture incorporated wildly colored knits, plastic beads, a black wig, and hand-sewn fabric chains. Now he’s taken leftover links from those chains and turned them into this statement necklace, each iteration of which is one-of-a-kind and comes with an artist-signed label.
