Official Rules for the 2023 Sight Unseen Sunne Lamp Giveaway

This sweepstakes is void where prohibited by applicable law. The sweepstakes is organized by Sight Unseen, hereafter referred to as the “Giveaway Host.”

This sweepstakes is open to all entrants globally, age 18 and older, and is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Shipping of the sweepstakes prize is available worldwide and the cost of shipping is included, however any customs / import taxes added by the winner’s local customs authorities shall be the sole responsibility of the winner and will not be paid or reimbursed by the Giveaway Host. The Giveaway Host is not responsible for predicting what those customs / import taxes might be.

Winners may be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and a liability release (unless prohibited by law) to as a condition to the delivery of the applicable prize. Employees of Giveaway Host and their immediate families, household members, and respective affiliates, parent companies, divisions, and related agencies are not eligible to enter the sweepstakes. No purchase is necessary to enter.

How to Enter: To enter, you simply have to follow Sight Unseen (@_sightunseen_) and Lexus (@discoverlexus) on Instagram, like Sight Unseen’s giveaway post on Instagram, and comment tagging a friend. Participants are allowed only one entry to the competition. The chosen winner of the sweepstakes must be following both Instagram accounts at the time their name is chosen as the winner, or they will not be considered eligible to win the prize.

The sweepstakes will begin at approximately 9:00 AM EST on December 7, 2023, and all entries must be received by no later than 11:59 AM EST on December 11, 2023. The Instagram account used by entrants will be the identity of the entrant and, if selected for a prize, the identity of the winner. By participating, all entrants agree to abide and be bound by these Rules.

Prizes: One (1) winner will receive one (1) Sunne Lamp by Marjan van Aubel, valued at approximately $1,950 USD. The Giveaway Host reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. All expenses and costs associated with the acceptance and use of prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner. The winner will be solely responsible for all federal, state and local taxes on prizes. Total approximate retail value for all prizes awarded: $1,950 USD.

Winner Selection: A winner will be selected in a random drawing at the end of the sweepstakes period. The drawings will be conducted by Sight Unseen, whose decisions are final and binding. Odds of winning will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received. The winners will be notified via Instagram the day after the conclusion of the sweepstakes entry period. The winner must claim their prize via Instagram or email within two (2) days after the date of notification of such prize. A winner’s failure to respond to the prize notification within the specified two (2) days will be considered such winner’s forfeiture of the prize and an alternate winner may be selected from the pool of eligible entries. If an entrant is found to be ineligible based on the sweepstakes entry rules above, an alternate winner may also be selected from the pool of eligible entries.

Giveaway Host shall not be responsible for 1) failed, returned or misdirected notifications or prize delivery based on inaccurate information provided by the winner, 2) entries and responses to winner notifications or prize delivery which are lost, late, incomplete, illegible, unintelligible, postage-due, misdirected, damaged or otherwise not received by the intended recipient in whole or in part or for computer or technical error of any kind, 3) any electronic miscommunications or failures, technical hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions which may limit an entrant’s ability to participate in the sweepstakes 4) any technical malfunctions of the telephone network, computer on-line system, computer equipment, software, program malfunctions or other failures, delayed computer transactions or network connections that are human, mechanical or technical in nature, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from downloading any part of this sweepstakes or 5) any warranty of fitness or merchantability of any prize or the function or operation thereof. By entering, an entrant agrees to release and hold harmless the Giveaway Host and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries and affiliated entities, directors, officers, employees, attorneys, agents, and representatives from any damage, injury, death, loss, claim, action, demand, or other liability (collectively Claims) that may arise from their acceptance, possession and/or use of any prize or their participation in this promotion, or from any misuse or malfunction of any prize awarded, regardless of whether such Claims, or knowledge of the facts constituting such Claims, exist at the time of entry or arise at any time thereafter.

Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with this sweepstakes, or the Giveaway Host’s website, will be ineligible for prizes and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

The Giveaway Host reserves the right to modify the rules of this Sweepstakes in any way or at any time. The Giveaway Host reserves the right to cancel or suspend this Sweepstakes should viruses, bugs, or other causes beyond their control corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the Sweepstakes.

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram. By entering this competition, you agree to a complete release of Instagram from any liability in connection with this contest.
