Project Room is a full-service, artist-run residential, commercial and interior design studio in Northeast Los Angeles. We are a small and supportive team and the studio values a work-life balance.

We are looking for a full-time Junior Designer to start as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support Project Designer in developing design concepts through all phases.
• Produce construction documents including plans, sections, elevations, and details.
• Coordinate drawings with consultants and resolve technical conflicts.
• Conduct code research and zoning analysis.
• Create 3D models, renderings and other assets for client presentations.
• Respond to contractor RFIs during construction phase.

Skills and Qualifications:
• 2-3+ years work experience in architecture. BA Arch, MA Arch or equivalent.
• Experience in all phases of construction, particularly documentation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Enscape, Google Workspace.
• Highly organized and efficient self-starter.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Experience working with LADBS preferred.

Position is full-time. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
