At the Unlimited show — the part of Art Basel reserved for large-scale pieces — we immediately beelined for the new installation by Jonah Freeman and Justin Lowe for Marlborough, called Artichoke Underground. It was a series of connected rooms (natch) that included a dirty waiting room (pictured), a meat locker with crystals growing inside, and some kind of Indian deli.
