The laminated-veneer process we used is very efficient, materials-wise, but without heat, the glue can take a long time to dry. We wanted to incorporate a little ‘TV magic’ into our day, meaning we planned on engaging with the visitors as much as possible. It was fun seeing the kids’ — and even some of the adults’ — faces light up when you walked them through a process that most of them had probably never seen before.”
