I only used basic hand tools to carve the foam; the most high-tech thing I used was a $30 hot-wire foam cutter that ended up being too slow to cut and couldn’t reach deep enough. Kiel from the American Design Club rummaged through the shelves and found a hand saw that became instrumental in creating the form."
