Favorite tool in your workshop: “A Japanese handsaw, or pull saw, as it’s sometimes called. I have two kinds: One has a rigid back that allows for more precision, and the other is double-sided. One side for cross­cutting and the other for ripping. I’m always appreciative when I get to use them.”
