Jessica Hans’s Ceramics Are Aggressively Irregular — Which Is Precisely Why We Love Them

Mushroom playing cards, one of our favorite finds ever during a shoot. “You can dye with mushrooms you know,” says Hans gleefully. “You boil them down, and it’s not a pigment. It’s a dye that’s in there, and you can make the colors blossom more with salt mordant.”
