The Role
We’re seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative to grow DuroDeco’s presence within the design and architecture community. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, understands the luxury interiors market, and is energized by connecting our furniture line with the right clients, showrooms, and design professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
– Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within architecture firms, interior design studios, boutique showrooms, and hospitality groups.
– Generate and manage a pipeline of prospects across residential and hospitality sectors.
Relationship Management
– Build strong, ongoing relationships with design professionals, procurement teams, and trade partners.
– Represent the DuroDeco brand at client meetings, industry events, and showroom visits.
Sales Execution
– Present and pitch DuroDeco collections, customization options, and capabilities.
– Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
– Track leads, proposals, and client communications using CRM tools.
Market Insight
– Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to inform strategy.
– Provide feedback from the field to inform product development and marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
– Proven success in outside sales, ideally within high-end furniture, design, or luxury goods.
– Established network of architecture and interior design contacts is highly desirable.
– Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to speak the language of design.
– Self-starter with strong organizational skills and comfort working independently.
– Ability to travel locally and regionally for client visits and industry events.
