Website Office of Tangible Space
Office of Tangible Space is a concept-driven design studio working across residential and commercial interiors. We approach each project as a new intellectual and spatial problem, never designing toward a fixed aesthetic or stylistic signature. Our work is rooted in rigorous concept development, material exploration and thoughtful execution.
As a small studio, our process is highly collaborative and each team member contributes across multiple aspects of a project. We value designers who can think fluidly—from overarching concept to technical detail—and who are excited to participate in a creative and iterative design process.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Designer / Project Manager to help lead projects from early concept through construction. The ideal team member has a background in architecture or interior design, is comfortable developing complete drawing sets, and can confidently guide projects, teams, and clients through the design and construction process.
Some things we value in our team members:
- You can move comfortably between big-picture thinking and technical detail, understanding that both are essential to a strong design.
- You approach projects with curiosity and rigor, contributing ideas and perspectives to the studio
- You design with integrity and thoughtfulness, recognizing that spaces directly shape the lives of those who inhabit them.
- You are reliable and organized and proactive, ensuring projects move forward smoothly and responsibly. We want to know when something isn’t working or could be improved.
- You are comfortable working directly with clients, consultants, and collaborators including leading conversations and site visits.
- You enjoy working within a small, collaborative studio environment where roles are fluid and initiative is valued.
