Seer Studio
Seer Studio founder Scott Martin — who’s launching his collection widely for the first time with Offsite — didn’t get into the field the way most designers do, with a lifelong love of making and a graduate degree. Martin was a touring musician for 12 years, and then a cater-waiter in Austin, when he staffed a Waterworks event and got hired by a local designer afterward. Sketches he made on his own time led to his debut series as Seer Studio, which takes small influences from some of the greats: 1940s French and 1970s Italian furniture.
