It goes beyond the familial resemblance evident in her work and into LeWitt’s “idea that a set of instructions can generate art work” and “that working conceptually and working formally aren’t necessarily two different things; they’re very much in tandem with each other. Weaving, essentially, is a set of instructions that generates pattern or a picture.”
