Cuff Studio
When devising their Common Ground collection, Kristi Bender and Wendy Schwartz of the Los Angeles–based Cuff Studio were reflecting upon political partisanship and wondering instead how design might unite us. They began by brainstorming the common design elements that form a thread between not only among their own pieces, but in the art and design world as a whole: Nature. Form. Shape. Negative Space. Texture. Line. Community. These are the elements that inform the collection — as well as all that Cuff Studio creates.
