Staged in an enviably spartan top-floor apartment in the heart of Copenhagen, gallery Les Gens Heureux’s current exhibition Visit allows for an intimate glimpse into the oeuvre of one of our favorite young makers, Ana Kraš. The solo exhibition features the Serbian-born photographer, illustrator, product designer, and part-time model’s most recent works, produced over the course of the last year in her adoptive hometown of New York. While Kraš is maybe best known in our world for her furniture (she’s exhibited at Salone Satellite in Milan; her handmade Bonbon lamps featured in the NYC makers biennial at the Museum of Arts and Design in 2014; and her series of tables for MatterMade are highly coveted around these parts) this solo show invites visitors to imagine the multi-hyphenate’s work in its most powerful context yet — simply at home.
