Arper’s Tropical Oasis, 2017

Aiming to attract designers and architects to its showroom during New York Design Week to experience its newest minimalist office chairs, Arper commissioned Sight Unseen to curate a special installation there, then co-host an opening event to celebrate the project. We invited Studio Proba to contribute rugs and Good Thing to contribute accessories, then asked Keren Richter of the White Arrow to style the space into a tropical oasis that managed to impress not only the event’s attendees, but Sight Unseen’s social media followers as well.
