Ferm Living’s New Collection Makes Design’s Biggest Trends a Little More Accessible
Does the design world need more pink, more velvet, more brass, more channel tufting? Probably not, but let’s be honest, how often is furniture about what we need rather than what we want? And how often are the things we want even remotely affordable? Ferm Living — the mid-market Danish housewares and furniture brand — released its latest fall/winter collection today, and though we assume some of the lighting and furniture may never be available in America, it does make some of high-end design’s biggest trends a little more accessible. A thick, cast-glass candlestick for $45, an epic $1,400 room divider with the perfect late ’70s / early ’80s vibe, a $700 stacked jewel-tone pouf — it may not be anything terribly ground-breaking, but we’re definitely not mad at it either. Check out the lookbook shots below, then keep an eye out for your favorites as soon as they hit Ferm’s online shop this fall.
