Chicago-based Nigel Evan Dennis is one of those graphic designers who does it all. From album art to campaigns for New Balance and Nike, Dennis has been working commercially under the moniker Electric Heat for the past 10 years, giving him the chance to hone his style and create work that hews close to his self-created Technicolor cosmos.  The work that we’re showcasing today, however, is a series of affordable posters (each one sells for $100 in limited editions of 20) he’s designed as part of his personal work. These prints — with their organic and bacteria-like forms — seem to exist in some primordial nebula, under the world’s most powerful microscope. This juxtaposition between physical inspiration and digital execution is something that Dennis strives for in his personal work and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results.
