Join Our 2016 New York Design Week Show

As many of you know by now, Sight Unseen isn’t just a design blog — we’re a store, a consultancy, and, each May, the producers and curators of one of the biggest, most important fairs held during New York Design Week: Sight Unseen OFFSITE. In our first year, we hosted presentations by the likes of Grey Area, Tai Ping, Kelly Behun, Field Experiments, and 50 independent design studios, not to mention an Instagrammable Calico Wallpaper still-life photo booth, a Print All Over Me pop-up, and a cocktail party with a line around the block. Last year, we added a Katie Stout pillow playground, an American Design Club exhibition, an organic cafe, and more. This year we’re stepping things up a major notch, with double the exhibition space and an even more ambitious curatorial program. Presented in partnership with Ford and running from May 13–16, Sight Unseen OFFSITE will once again be part of NYCxDESIGN, and we can’t wait for you to join us.

For 2016, we’ll be inhabiting a new venue: a 30,000 square-foot floor inside the iconically sloped 1974 W.R. Grace building, boasting floor-to-ceiling views onto Bryant Park directly below. In addition to showcasing a curated selection of furniture and product launches by some of our favorite independent design studios and brands, we’re once again partnering with Ford to bring the design thinking behind its cars to life, with a special immersive installation by the up-and-coming architecture firm Leong Leong. A full lineup for the show will be available in the coming weeks at offsite.sightunseen.com.
