A Down Under Furniture Brand Meets an American Favorite in Soho

Opening today, one of our favorite design duos, Ladies & Gentlemen Studio, will be launching a concept shop in SoHo for the month of May, showcasing the new Australian design brand SP01. Over/Under, as the project is called, presents a leap for L&G beyond objects like lighting, furniture, and jewelry, and into a holistic interiors experience. SP01, making its U.S. debut, looked to L&G for a concept beyond the traditional showroom, a place where guests could relax. In the space, SP01’s down-under cool, beautifully detailed, indoor and outdoor furniture mix with L&G’s ethereal and sculptural accessories in addition to rugs by CC-Tapis, objects by Pat Kim, and ceramics by High Gloss and Object & Totem — all of which could be moved from space to space, pinks, teals, blacks, and tans flowing seamlessly. Ladies & Gentlemen are also debuting a new collection of lights, called Float, which reflect light off of enormous, sculptural aluminum discs. Open to the public from April 28 – May 31, with a storefront anchored by a specially curated design library, Over/Under is located on the ground floor at XOCO 325, a luxury condominium at 325 West Broadway in SoHo.
