Recycled Steel Furniture Built to Last — Even in the Mediterranean Sun

As we move into grayer days (at least in this part of the world), it’s nice to find furniture made with the eternal summer vision of “gazing out at the Mediterranean, a drink in your hand, at one with the sea and not a rainy day in sight.” This is the concept from Camilla Rosén, the designer and owner behind the new Danish brand C/RO. With environmentally friendly designs that work for indoor and outdoor spaces, the sophisticated collection — handmade in Sweden from recycled steel — blends architecture and Scandinavian minimalism by way of chic seating, tables, bar carts, and trays. The pale blue sofas and silver chairs can be dressed up or down with their simple canvas seats and cushions. The airy side table, named Macaron, is a shiny homage to the French treat. The elegant bar trolley can be wheeled into the dining room or out into the poolside sun. Daydreams meet functionality.
