Our Offsite Fair Will Go Digital This Spring — Join Us!

When the pandemic hit the U.S. last month, we were in the middle of six months of intensive planning for our 2020 Offsite show, after taking a hiatus in 2019. We secured a venue in Manhattan, put together an amazing lineup, and were excited to start promoting the show — and then the universe intervened. With no way to hold Offsite IRL in May, and no way to know whether we’ll be able to hold it IRL in the fall (fingers crossed!), we’re doing the next best thing: Creating a digital design fair that anyone can visit with the click of a button.

Luckily for us, digital content happens to be our forte (we even dabbled in VR once, with the Tom Hancocks project pictured at the top of this post). Offsite Online, as we’re calling it, will launch on sightunseen.com in mid-May with a web-based platform for viewing all the works in the show. It will also fill our story feed and social media accounts for a few weeks, offering a comprehensive first look at the 2020 collections of some of our favorite independent design studios and brands.

Our physical Offsite show is known for its rigorous curation, as well as for being a place to spot new trends and talents. Offsite Online will be no different. If you’d like to join us as an exhibitor, please email us at offsite@sightunseen.com to apply. If you’d like to view the show when it launches, subscribe to our newsletter and be the first to get updates on our schedule and lineup.
