In Copenhagen, A Colorful Showcase of Emerging Danish Designers
Among the highlights of last week’s 3Days of Design in Copenhagen was DAWN, a showcase of 30 established and emerging talents at Nomad Workspace, curated by Spatial Code and Who’s Agency. Located in a former courthouse turned co-working space, the exhibition featured work by designers and brands like Kristina Dam and Friends & Founders alongside newer companies like Nuura Lighting, &drape, and Lisette Rützou. Among the highlights: Helle Mardahl debuted a new, candy-colored glass collection, the floral artist Poppykalas collaborated with Swedish textile brand Layered with a color explosion, and artist Ursula Nistrup created silk works in collaboration with clothing designer Lotte Henriksen that reminded us of Rowena Sartin’s crinkled tulle and organza pillowcases.
