The Colored Glass Coffee Table You’ve Been Looking For

We’ll be featuring a closer look at all of the best launches from IMM Cologne and Maison & Objet later this week, but first we wanted to highlight a collection that honestly stopped us in our tracks. If you’ve been paying attention, the German brand Pulpo has been quietly releasing some of the most adventurous mass-produced items around over the past few years, but this might be our favorite collection yet — Aspa, a series of geometric tables in stippled colored glass by MUT Design; Brut, a bookshelf series by Ferréol Babin that marries a smooth or textured glass silhouette with raw, off-cut marble slabs from Austria; and kaboom + oooh + pow + wham, a shaggy, fake fur–upholstered seating collection by Hermann August Weizeneger. The coffee table in particular is a statement to be sure — although it’s also available in gray and clear glass in addition to the rosy pink and chartreuse — but it’s one we’re ready to make.
