Rattan, Terrazzo, Millennial Pink: A New Space in Madrid Hits All Your Favorite Trends
Remember that terrazzo kitchen we featured last Saturday? Turns out it was just one room of many in a new event space in Madrid that’s part photography studio, part co-working space, occasional wedding venue, and repository for just about all the interior trends happening right now. Inspired by both Miami Art Deco and 1950s Beverly Hills hotels, Espacio Nueva Carolina, designed by Sara Uriarte of Cordero Atelier and run in collaboration with Nerea López and María De Miguel of Antarctica, features rattan, houseplants, the aforementioned terrazzo, Breuer chairs, and plenty of millennial pink — including two epic velvet daybeds with iridescent, zinc-plated bases. Check out some of our favorite photos below (and can somebody please bring this concept to New York City?)
